Star Trek Online is a massively multiplayer online action role-playing game. The setting of Star Trek online is 2409-2411. You can play as a Starfleet (United Federation of Planets) captain, a Klingon Defense Force (Klingon Empire) captain, a Dominion captain, A Romulan Defense Force (Romulan Republic) captain.
Not Pay to Win
One remarkable thing about Star Trek Online is you don’t need to pay money to have fun in the game. For example, you do not have to grind to acquire good equipment. You do not need to pay to get good enough gear to complete challenging missions. Also, you get a free high-tier ship at level 40.
Graphics are Beautiful
Star Trek Online has incredible, detailed graphics. For instance, in the second part of the mission called Midnight, your character gets transported back in time to ancient Iconia. The graphics are, in my opinion, the most detailed graphics in the game. For instance, the Odyssey Class Star Cruiser looks terrific. The developers effectively do the graphics, and I have experienced little to no bugs when playing the game. Also, the in-game music is epic because it helps immerse you in the experience.
Great Controls and Tutorial
On top of all that, the controls are easy. You use WASD to move. From personal experience, the tutorial is a great resource to learn the game. The reason that the tutorial is effective is that it is a critical story moment. Another reason is that the tutorial taught me the controls very effectively.
I have played 256 hours of Star Trek Online, and I never get tired of the game. Therefore, I rate the game 9.5\10.
