A tiny 30 level arcade game with a shotgun and a cube.
There’s not much to Cube Rampage. You shoot at a cube using shotgun physics and knock the cube to the goal spots before time runs out. The screen shakes, and a colossal shotgun sound echoes with every shot, which is a satisfying feeling.
The timing/coordination is tricky, but you have a tiny bit of “bullet time” you can activate. You can slow things down to take your time with the most challenging shots. Cube Rampage is a fun distraction, worthy of a few minutes, but didn’t capture my interest overall.

Davit Masia created cube Rampage from a dream, which is perhaps a fascinating part of the game. The author woke up with the idea for a fun, frantic arcade game and sketched it out right afterward. I’ve got to start keeping a journal by my bed!
