Rock N Rush Battle Racing Review

Racing Battle Royale Game with Classic Rock Music

Rock N’ Rush Battle racing is a pretty straightforward game. As you race through the maps, you can blow up your competition. While the action happens, there’s classic rock blasting in the background. The name of the game pretty much says it all.

Gameplay

You have the option of 5 cars. Each car has its strengths and weaknesses. I chose the truck for my run-through. It was a bit slower but had lots of HP.

You can play single or local multiplayer on the five maps available. It’s a fun game for local multiplayer, but solo mode won’t hold a gamer’s attention longer than a few minutes.

For combat, each car has a machine gun mounted on the front. On top of your machine gun ability, you can get Mario-kart-style powerups during the race. These include shields, nitro (for speed), and missiles.

Impressions

Rock N’ Rush Battle Racing accomplishes what it set out to do ok, but it was rough around the edges and felt like a beta. For example, when you flip your car or go off the edge of the track, you can wait for 20 seconds to reset (which loses you the race) or just hit a reset key on your keyboard as soon as you start to flip over and get back on track.

Overall, the game felt somewhat unfinished and unpolished. The lack of maps and the sameness of gameplay added up to make for a kind of run-of-the-mill experience.
