Short 30 level minimalist one-room platformer
Kubyx is a hard but not overly challenging game where you are navigating a one-room map. On each level, when you get the timing right, it’s about 5 seconds long from start to end.
The background is a bit disorienting with wavy heat lines. Compounding the disorientation is that the cube doesn’t move very smoothly along the map.
When you die, the level reset is quick, and you can repeat the level in rapid-fire succession.
Kubyx is not a bad way to spend 30 minutes, but it’s not a great way to spend the time either.
