Attack pirate enemies with your hair and a sword.
Hair dash is a phone game still in the midst of development. The version released into the itch.io bundle for PC is a pre-alpha version with very limited functionality. The caveat with this review is that I played a pre-alpha version of the game, and perhaps the full iOS and android versions are more captivating.
It’s a fast-paced arcade game where you have two options, left and right. You attack your enemies with a sword and your hair and you see how far you can get before the enemy pirates overwhelm and kill you. I played for about 15 minutes and then got bored. It’s fine for what it is, just what it is isn’t particularly exciting.
The best part of the game is the animation of the hair turning into a fist and punching your enemies. Made me jealous. I’d love to have animated hair. That’d be a great magic item for a Dungeons and Dragons game. A sentient wig that can attack your enemies as a bonus action.
