Short Arcade Rogue-lite with cute animation
There’s not a lot going on in Extreme Mining. It’s a simple game with one battle screen. Your job as the player is to destroy the rocks before they destroy you. The game difficulty escalates quickly, and you soon find yourself in bullet hell.
As you get money from mining, you can go over to the shop. In the shop, you can add time to the game, upgrade weapons and damage, and it’s a nice breather from the craziness happening on screen.
It’s much easier to show than write about this short game and I’ve included a 5-minute playthrough below.
Extreme Mining does well with what it is, but it’s not a game to hold your attention. It’s a “name your price” game on itch, so the price is right for it.
