10-in-1 Game a Week Bundle Review

Grade: F

A pile of unfinished prototypes

The 10-in-1 games and prototypes were some mess around projects that the developer decided to publish in a bundle. The Developer put a lot of work into these, so I won’t be too critical.

In short, some of these are worth a little laugh, but it’s not something I’d consider worthy of publication.

They are buggy and not intuitive. For example. Just quitting the game is difficult. For many of the games, I had to use Alt-tab and then force-quit out of Unity to get the game to close.

The bad and the ugly

Here’s a montage of each game, and you can decide for yourself whether my rare F grade is warranted. This game set being published is like if I recorded a mistake-filled piano performance and posted it to Spotify. It doesn’t make sense to put this out to the public and makes even less sense to charge 5 dollars for the set of games.

Some lowlights:

  • The duck boxing game where you couldn’t punch
  • The boxcar that couldn’t move forwards and fell off the earth
  • The hat game where you couldn’t put on a hat
  • The playground game where you couldn’t climb
Bundle Montage
This screen came up in the pineapple half-pipe. Will do.
